Accounts Payable Supervisor

The Stirling Council is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their Finance Team.
This role will involve managing a team of staff and ensuring the financial accuracy of payments to and from suppliers and customers. The successful candidate will have knowledge of Accounts Payable practices and procedures, particularly in Local Government, and experience with Oracle Fusion Enterprise Resource Planning system would be advantageous.
Estimated Salary Range£45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of staff to ensure accurate financial control and payment processes.
- Ensure compliance with Local Government accounting practices and regulations.
- Develop and implement effective financial procedures and systems.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of financial regulations, and experience working with Oracle Fusion Enterprise Resource Planning system. A degree in Accounting or related field is desirable. We encourage applications from candidates who are flexible, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
