Sanctuary Group is seeking a skilled Housing Officer to join our team in Worcester. As a key member of our Housing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our properties are safe and attractive places to live, while also ensuring tenancies are conducted in a satisfactory manner.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working within the social housing sector, with a strong understanding of relevant housing regulations and legislation. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build key relationships between Sanctuary Housing and our tenants.
The role will involve working closely with the lettings team to allocate void properties, liaising with tenancy enforcement agencies to build relevant case files and manage the complaint process, and handling a range of situations including complex cases of anti-social behaviour. The successful candidate will also be required to attend various meetings to coordinate tenancy termination and changes, property clearance, and support tenancy auditing and fraud investigations.
We offer a competitive salary of £32,242 per annum, rising to £33,939 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance. Our benefits package includes 25 days annual leave, a pension scheme with employer contributions, life assurance, and access to a range of wellbeing support and tools.
