A leading company in South Liverpool is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of their production site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising labour, ensuring timely delivery of services, and maintaining good communications with customers and associates.

The role involves supervising operational cleaning activities, waste collections, and processing, as well as ensuring risk assessments and method statements are up to date.

The ideal candidate will have relevant cleaning and waste knowledge, experience in people management, and the ability to multi-task, prioritise, and delegate work as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and plan operational cleaning activities, including overtime requirements, to meet and exceed customer standards.
  2. Supervise and plan operational waste collections/processing activities, including constant review/amendment of waste assignments.
  3. Ensure risk assessments and method statements are available and up to date.
  4. Maintain a working knowledge of company processes, particularly regarding grievance and disciplinary procedures.
  5. Develop and deliver presentations to management, colleagues, and customers.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant cleaning and waste knowledge and experience, comfortable leading and supporting teams of employees.
  2. People management experience, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, and delegate work as necessary, and work to tight deadlines.
  3. Team player and able to work alone.
