We're looking for an experienced Food Safety Technician to join our team at Kellogg's Wrexham site. The salary for this role is approximately £42,000 per year.

Responsibilities

You will be accountable for ensuring that all aspects of sanitation and housekeeping meet the required standards and compliance levels. This includes developing and implementing strategies for maintaining excellent sanitation levels, ensuring thorough cleanliness and hygiene practices are followed throughout the plant, and contributing to the development and implementation of new sanitation procedures as needed.

  • Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to ensure effective sanitation practices across the plant.
  • Sanitation Systems: Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure proper functioning of equipment and facilities necessary for achieving high sanitation standards.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to enhance personal skills and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in food safety technology and best practices.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and adhere to relevant legislation and certifications that impact food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster open communication and cooperation among team members to achieve shared goals.
