Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Clockwork Organisation Ltd t/a Travail Employment in Wrexham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company meets the required standards for BRC and FSC accreditation, as well as maintaining a safe working environment.


Salary and Benefits


The salary for this role is up to £40,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits to support your professional development and wellbeing.


Key Responsibilities



  1. Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with BRC and FSC standards.


  2. Develop and implement risk assessments to identify potential hazards and take steps to mitigate them.


  3. Work closely with senior management to ensure site-wide health and safety compliance, staying up-to-date with current legislation and best practices.


  4. Identify training needs for employees and develop training programs to improve their knowledge and skills.


  5. Create and manage permits to work for contractors, ensuring they adhere to site standards.


  6. Oversee the work of contractors, ensuring they meet the required standards for quality and safety.



Requirements



  • Hold a NEBOSH certification or equivalent, or have relevant experience with a willingness to complete the NEBOSH course.
