Job Title: Head of Platforms

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Platforms to join our Transformation and Technology team in London. As the Head of Platforms, you will be responsible for end-to-end accountability for delivery of IT Solutions within the portfolio of each Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic alignment to the right technical outcome ensuring a well-managed and secure estate.
  • Partner with Head of Change and third-party providers to ensure quality assurance and manage resource allocation and budget responsibility.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party providers, and ensure that all delivery is aligned to enterprise technology and QBE delivery standards.
  • Drive technical efficiencies and continuous improvement to ensure a scalable run model.

About You

  • You will have strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships at all levels with our internal and external customers.
  • Have strong presentation skills to influence key stakeholders to adopt innovative ways of working and new technologies.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs strategically.
  • Have an innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent application and technology understanding with the ability to lead, drive improvements and meet business deadlines.
