Apprentice Insurance Broker Opportunity

Our client, a leading Lloyds Insurance Broker, is seeking an Apprentice Broker to join their Management Risk team in London. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a school or college leaver looking to start their career in the insurance industry.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support management and colleagues in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Develop a thorough understanding of insurance principles and the insurance broking market
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries in a professional and efficient manner
  • Deal with client enquiries, insurers, and third parties
  • Generate system correspondence and notify insurers of changes and new cover issued
  • Process and dispatch policy documentation to clients
  • Update records following changes or amendments to risk details
  • Pursue and secure outstanding renewal premiums
Requirements:
  • On-target or completed 3 A-Levels or equivalent (Grade C or above)
  • At least 5 GCSES (Grade C or above)
  • Strong IT skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to work within a team or individually
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
