Disability Support Worker Position

We are seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Right at Home Sydney Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives.
Main Responsibilities:- Aid clients with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and household cleanliness to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
- Encourage clients to set and pursue personal objectives, enhancing autonomy and community engagement through active support.
- Maintain a respectful atmosphere that respects each individual's rights, dignity, and personal choices, promoting inclusivity and understanding.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and families for unified, effective care that meets the unique needs of each client.
- Implement behaviour management techniques and crisis interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for empowering individuals with disabilities and providing high-quality care that makes a real difference in their lives.
Estimated salary: AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per annum depending on experience.
