A leading education recruitment agency, Prospero Teaching, seeks a highly skilled Primary Learning Mentor to work in a successful primary school in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted interventions and support for students across all curriculum areas
  • Lead groups in activities in core subjects such as Phonics, Reading, Maths, and Writing
  • Collaborate with individuals on learning and development activities
  • Prepare resources and learning spaces within the setting
  • Conduct assessments and record information
  • Assist in daily routines for students
  • Collaborate with children on a range of learning and play activities, indoors and outdoors
  • Liaise with parents
Position Details:
  • Location: Wilmslow, Cheshire
  • Duration: Ongoing contract
  • Position: Primary Learning Mentor
  • Full-time, 8:30am to 3:30pm daily
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a UK primary school
  • Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (Minimum Level 2), Education Studies Degree, Psychology Degree or similar
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training issued within the last year
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £45.80 if not already held
  • Provide two professional references covering the past two years

The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
