Job Description:

The School

A primary school near Stroud caters for children aged 4-11, with a resource base attached for students with a primary diagnosis of Autism. The resource base also supports students with secondary complex needs.

The Role

This is a full-time role working under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo. You will support children in the resource base, both one-to-one and in small groups.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver targeted group interventions
  • Work one-to-one with children when directed

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with students with Autism
  • Very good level of spoken and written English
  • High levels of resilience
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
