About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transport Planning Technician to join our Highway Development Management (HDM) Team at Leicestershire County Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the HDM electronic system for recording, providing, and monitoring consultation responses.
  • Provide a superuser role for MasterGov, including developing training manuals, providing training, and representing the team on the corporate working group.
  • Monitor and manage consultations and correspondence via the HDM generic inbox.
  • Provide administrative support for the HDM system, processing invoices, and generating reports with management and performance data.
  • Review consultations on planning applications and pre-application enquiries, ensuring accurate recording of information on electronic systems.

About You

We are looking for candidates with a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. You should have experience with MS Office programs, GIS mapping software, and a strong understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.
