We're seeking a skilled General Manager to lead our thriving carvery business, The Pipe Major, in Dagenham. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, managing day-to-day operations, and fostering a positive work environment.

About the Role

As a General Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of the pub, including staff management, customer service, and financial performance. You'll work closely with our Assistant Manager and Head Chef to ensure seamless operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve profitability
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Manager and Head Chef to ensure effective communication and teamwork
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and utilities
