Head of Clinical Effectiveness

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to take on the role of Head of Clinical Effectiveness in its Quality Governance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives across the organization, working closely with senior leaders and teams to drive excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with senior leaders and teams to develop and implement clinical governance strategies and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the operational management of clinical audit and effectiveness functions.
  • Develop systems and processes to ensure an in-depth understanding of patient outcomes through local audits and national programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address them.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on clinical governance and quality improvement matters.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A first-level degree in a health-related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Mastery-level qualification in a health-related subject or equivalent demonstrable experience, skill, and competence at a senior level.
  • Leadership/Management Qualification or post-registration leadership development courses.
  • Evidence of relevant specialist study and continued personal and professional development.

We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
