Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our onsite Desktop Team based in Euston on an initial 3-month contract (outside IR35). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support of Windows Desktop O/S and other industry-standard tools used by the customer.
- Perform a complex range of technical work activities either remotely or at customer sites to meet business and customer requirements.
- Document and report on work completed to ensure compliance with Company and Customer Procedures.
- Contribute to the development of technical procedures and standards to meet business and customer requirements.
- Escalate issues to the Desktop Team Leader or Service Manager in line with company processes to ensure customer demands are met.
- Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic team environments to maintain consistent effective contribution.
- Ensure daily checks have been completed.
- Work within the required SLAs to deliver the service.
- Participate in the on-call rota among the team and for into the shift pattern to allow the Desktop Team leader to allow for leave, sickness, training etc.
- Support project delivery aims and objectives.
- Adhere to the Change Control Policy and that changes to the estate are only made under RFC.
- Ensure all changes to the estate are reflected in support documentation.
- Work under the guidance and mentoring of the Desktop Team Leader.
Shift Pattern: 10 to 6 or 8 to 4 pm
