We are seeking an experienced Brickwork Lecturer to join The Bedford College Group. Located in the heart of Bedford, this role offers a unique opportunity to share your expertise and inspire the next generation of builders.

About the Role

As a Brickwork Lecturer, you will play a key part in delivering our Level 3 Bricklaying courses, ensuring students receive exceptional education and training. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering engaging lesson plans and coursework
  • Evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Participating in curriculum development and contributing to the growth of our Programme Area/Centre
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in Bricklaying NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • A teaching qualification, such as Cert. Ed/PGCE or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to promoting equality and diversity within the workplace
  • Experience working in a similar FE environment
