Section Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Section Engineer to join our team at Kier Group, a leading construction company. As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical compliance of our projects, managing the preparation of 'as-built drawings', and establishing effective systems to record work completed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of 'as-built drawings' and update the Project Quality Plan accordingly.
- Assist in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, including drainage, concrete, piling, and brickwork.
- Ensure the workforce understands setting out information and provide engineering support to overcome complex problems.
- Manage the preparation of sketches for distribution on site and maintain clear communication channels.
Requirements:
- HNC/Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Commercial and Contractual awareness.
- Able to liaise with clients, client representatives, and team leaders in a professional manner.
- Experience in a similar role is desirable.

Security Clearance:
This role requires a Government Security Check (SC) Clearance / Counter Terrorism Check (CTC), which will be conducted by the Cabinet Office's United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) agency. Applicants with criminal convictions will be treated on a case-by-case basis.
