We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Vulnerable Youth Mentor to join our team. As a mentor, you will provide individualised support to students who require additional help, working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement tailored behaviour plans.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide one-to-one support to students with complex needs
  2. Collaborate with the school team to develop and implement behaviour plans
  3. Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage positive behaviour

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviour
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
  • Confidence in using de-escalation techniques
