Accounting and Advisory Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Advisory Manager to join our team in the North-East and Yorkshire. As a key member of our Accounting and Business Advisory (ABA) team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a portfolio of clients, including budgeting, cost management, and billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to clients.
- Develop and implement effective financial management strategies to drive business growth.
- Provide expert advice on financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management.
- Collaborate with colleagues from our tax department to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Project manage engagements to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Ensure resources are planned effectively and team members are briefed appropriately.
Requirements
- Fully Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA.
- Working experience of UK GAAP and financial reporting experience.
- Working knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and/or other cloud accounting packages.
- Knowledge of CCH or similar professional accounts preparation packages.
- Experience of managing and overseeing a team within financial services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel.
- An understanding of data analytic tools such as Alteryx and/or Power BI.
