About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting and Advisory Manager to join our team in the North-East and Yorkshire. As a key member of our Accounting and Business Advisory (ABA) team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a portfolio of clients, including budgeting, cost management, and billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals to deliver high-quality services to clients.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
- Provide expert advice on financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management to clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on financial matters and helping them achieve their business objectives.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant with experience in UK GAAP and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and/or other cloud accounting packages.
- Experience of managing and overseeing a team within financial services, including training, coaching, and performance management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel.
- An understanding of data analytic tools such as Alteryx and/or Power BI.
