Job Title: Van Driver

Overview:

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a reliable Van Driver to transport biological samples and clinical waste. The successful candidate will be responsible for making safe deliveries and collections, collecting and disposing of pharmaceutical waste, and delivering goods to secure sites.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make safe delivery and collection of goods.
  • Collect and dispose of pharmaceutical waste.
  • Deliveries and collections in and around your hub location.
  • Short and long-distance driving as and when required.
  • Deliveries and collections to secure sites.
  • Complete a daily van maintenance check.
  • Adhere to all driving regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3.5 ton Van Deliveries and collections (suitable car license holders may be offered training).
  • Temperature controlled usage beneficial (Not essential as full training given).
  • Waste handling deliveries and collections (Not essential as full training given).
  • Manifests Route planning.
  • Minimum 2 years driving experience - 6 months driving experience in a van is beneficial.
  • Clean driving licence no more than 3 points.
  • DBS check - Paid for by the company.
