About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to join our special needs Secondary school in Havant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education to students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, as well as other complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students
  • Work collaboratively with the school's multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive support system for students
  • Contribute to the development of a nurturing and inclusive school environment
  • Monitor and assess student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to supporting students
Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one with GSL Education
