About the Role:

The Financial Recovery Specialist will be responsible for collecting overdue invoice payments from business customers, ensuring timely cash collections and minimizing bad debts. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Credit control of assigned debtors
  • High-volume collection activity on small and large value invoices
  • Action and resolution of customer invoice queries and disputes
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of unallocated cash on assigned debtors
  • Generation and transfer of accounts to legal status
  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure satisfaction and courteous treatment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires a good working knowledge of sales ledger and substantial credit control experience (min 2 years). Strong communicator with solid reasoning skills and good office system skills including Excel, Word, and Email are also essential. SAP knowledge would be advantageous.
