**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Misuse Recovery Specialist to join our team at Humankind. As a key member of our Calderdale Recovery Steps Team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance misuse.

**About the Role**

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients, creating and implementing individualized recovery plans, and facilitating their progression through structured treatment programs. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that clients receive comprehensive support and care.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Manage a caseload of clients, including assessment, goal-setting, and progress monitoring

• Develop and implement individualized recovery plans, tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances

• Facilitate client progression through structured treatment programs, promoting engagement and motivation

• Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to provide holistic support and care

• Utilize evidence-based interventions and strategies to support client recovery and well-being

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A strong understanding of substance misuse issues and recovery principles

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to substance misuse services

• Relevant qualifications or experience working in a similar role
