About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEMH Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
