Our client, a well-established company in Harlow, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their dynamic finance team on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a minimum of 1 year's experience to build on their skills and expertise. Alternatively, finance graduates with administrative experience who are eager to transition into a finance role may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:- Validate and process large volumes of invoices for multiple European entities
- Manage Accounts Payable mailboxes and resolve supplier queries
- Liaise with other sites as needed to obtain data/approvals for processing
- Collaborate with colleagues from multiple departments to ensure timely resolution of vendor/supplier issues
- Answer and resolve email and telephone queries from internal and external parties
- Comply with Company and departmental policies and procedures
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in a Finance position
- Good use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective communication skills and ability to prioritize workload
- Ability to process data and information accurately and according to expected turnaround times
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week (hybrid working, 3 days per week in the office)
Salary and Benefits:£25,000 - £26,000 DOE
