At the forefront of Green Recruitment Company's mission to drive sustainability, we are seeking an exceptional Programme Sustainability Manager to spearhead our internal Sustainability ESG activities. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our Firm's sustainability strategies and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. We are looking for an experienced corporate sustainability project manager who can work closely with our Head of ESG and Sustainability ESG team to support the management and execution of our National Sustainability ESG internal framework.
  2. You will be responsible for creating guidelines, checklists, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices for internal use.
  3. The successful candidate will take ownership of our intranet ESG content, collaborating with the ESG team (business development) to maintain an effective presence on the network and showcase internal ESG initiatives/activities within the firm, integrating with the employer brand and marketing teams as necessary.
  4. They will manage relationships with social and charitable foundations.
  5. The Programme Sustainability Manager will lead our national network of Net Zero ambassadors – driving targeted action-driven task-based reporting.
  6. They will oversee the Net Zero Now internal initiative, maintaining data to map our route to decarbonisation, including compilation of regular internal updates to report on progress. Effective reporting and control within the firm on metrics and KPIs will also be their responsibility.
  7. The selected candidate will lead the firm's SBTi journey and relationships with Eco Vadis.
  8. They will own the firm's annual sustainability report from cradle to grave, including TCFD-aligned disclosures.
  9. The ideal candidate will attend team briefings on new ESG policy, staying up-to-date with the latest guidance, regulation, and trends, protecting the firm from the risk of non-compliance.
  10. To innovate with ideas and content (such as new technology, new policy, new ways of working) within the Sustainability ESG space.
  11. Being a service for the ESG team to deliver its annual strategy.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  1. A proven track record in a similar role is essential.
  2. Experience in leading and delivering change, as well as implementing improvements to services and reporting.
  3. A strong working knowledge of all areas of the firm and an understanding of how an agile professional services firm operates.
  4. Strong administration, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage time efficiently.
  5. Strong influencing and communication skills, with a proven ability to listen to the needs of the business while advocating for sustainable ways of working.
