Lloyd's Brussels is a leading insurance and reinsurance marketplace seeking an experienced professional to lead its sustainability efforts.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Head of Sustainability Strategist to drive our sustainability reporting strategy, develop key partnerships, and support the delivery of our corporate sustainability strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sustainability Strategy:
    • Design and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy for Lloyd's Corporation.
    • Collaborate with the Corporate Affairs Director to deliver strategic outcomes for the corporation and market.
    • Evaluate and enhance the sustainability strategy and partnerships to align with the corporation's aims and purpose.
  • Sustainability Partnerships:
    • Promote and execute key global sustainability partnerships that focus on shared priorities with the broader Lloyd's ecosystem.
    • Cultivate relationships with managing agents, capital providers, and prospective market participants to foster collaboration on sustainability initiatives.
  • Advise the Corporation and Lloyd's Market on Sustainability:
    • Develop and refine processes for ensuring the sustainability-related competence of the market.
    • Manage the creation and dissemination of sustainability guidance to set strategic direction for the market.
  • Sustainability Reporting:
    • Oversight of sustainability reporting strategy for Lloyd's Corporation.
    • Production of key sustainability reports for the corporation.
  • Carbon Emissions Accounting:
    • Ownership of calculating and measuring carbon emissions for Lloyd's Corporation.
  • Sustainability Analytics:
    • Calculation and communication of key sustainability metrics to the corporation.
    Requirements
    • Senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.
    • Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
    • Demonstrable understanding of sustainability initiatives in the context of Lloyd's Corporation.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
    • Experience managing complex regulatory reporting.
    • Team management experience.
    • Prioritization and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
    • In-depth knowledge of sustainability principles and opportunities.
