We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Gap Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and clients on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor health and safety practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure health and safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement health and safety strategies.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

  • CSCS card (ideally a level 6 black card).
  • Prior health and safety experience in either a construction or engineering context.
  • A NEBOSH Diploma would be beneficial.
  • CDM training would be beneficial.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS.
