About the RoleThe Head of Marketing Analytics will lead a team of 7 analysts, plus a long-standing agency team of 2-3 part-time analysts. This role is an opportunity to work amongst a talented and high-performing team, integral to the Marketing organization, enabling Carwow's sustainable and data-driven growth.
As the Head of Marketing Analytics, you will be responsible for leading multiple, complex stakeholder relationships, managing team development, and cultivating a strong culture of collaboration and a happy, healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 7 analysts, plus a long-standing agency team of 2-3 part-time analysts.
- Matrix manage Marketing Data Engineers and a Data Scientist who officially sit outside of the team but are part of the squad.
- Ensure continued success of BAU support for all Marketing stakeholders across all channels.
- Define and enable the delivery of Marketing Analytics quarterly OKRs and goals with the team.
- Refine and deliver on 2 core initiatives: Customer Data Platform implementation and utilisation, and Marketing Capital Allocation process and execution.
Requirements
- Marketing Analytics specialism with a background in Marketing Analytics, passion, and deep knowledge of various Marketing channels.
- Particular familiarity with Google channels and platforms is a bonus.
- Experience in embedding Marketing Capital Allocation into business budgeting, specific experience with MMMs and incrementality is essential.
- Experience of utilising and/or implementing Martech, especially a Customer Data Platform, is desirable.
- Technically strong with strong SQL and analytical thinking and commercial mindset.
- Experienced leader with experience leading large teams, managing Data Engineers, and strong interpersonal skills.
