As the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) continues to shape its vision and objectives, we seek an experienced leader to provide specialist knowledge and direction for our business change and transformation agenda.

About the Role

This critical leadership position involves working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and executive group to drive improvements in service delivery and performance by developing business change and transformation programmes. You will identify risks, set the corporate approach to performance management, and represent the CPS across the criminal justice system and wider Civil Service.

About You

We are looking for a successful leader who has delivered strategic transformation and change leadership within a multi-agency environment. Excellent communication and engagement skills are essential to build confidence and support for our work. Knowledge of business change techniques and methodologies, experience in developing performance management frameworks, and professional qualifications such as Chartered Project Professional are desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business change and transformation programmes
  • Identify and mitigate risks to programme success
  • Set and manage performance targets and metrics
  • Represent the CPS in key forums and partnerships

Location
