About This Opportunity

Metroline is seeking a skilled Transformation and Development Director to join its Human Resources team in Manchester.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that recruitment meets the needs of the depots, is legally compliant, and the training function meets company standards and criteria set by the DSA. They will also be responsible for managing driver CPC in line with European Directive and legislation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all Immigration and recruitment processes and procedures;
  • Compile monthly staff establishment figures reporting to Exec and Singapore;
  • Compile monthly period report consisting of department statistics including financials and any other area required by the Head of HR;
  • Develop and implement cost-effective training programs for new and existing drivers;
  • Inspire and motivate staff within the department to reach their full potential;
  • Monitor and maintain Depot Staff Establishments at a level allowing cost-effective operation;
  • Deliver Driver CPC meeting company requirements for legal compliance.
Essential Criteria
  • Must hold a Management CPC qualification or be willing to work towards it;
  • Understanding of departmental budget and finance.

Working Hours

38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
