About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at SCR. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to a child with cerebral palsy in their own home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the child with daily living tasks, including personal care and activities that promote their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with managing the child's medical needs, including administering medication and monitoring their condition.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the child, their family, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of personalized care plans that meet the child's unique needs and goals.
Requirements
  • A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field (desirable).
  • Experience working with children with complex needs, including cerebral palsy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and other professionals.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (essential).
