Job Title: Autism Support Learning Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as an Autism Support Learning Assistant. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with autism in their educational journey.

About the Role:

In this rewarding position, you will work closely with students who have autism, providing individualized support to enhance their educational experience. You will assist teachers in delivering high-quality, tailored support that empowers students to overcome challenges and engage fully in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with autism, helping them access the curriculum and engage in activities.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), working with teachers to adjust learning materials and strategies to suit the specific needs of each student.
  • Support students in developing social skills, building self-confidence, and fostering independence.
  • Monitor the progress of students, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents, and making adjustments to support strategies as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children who have autism or special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational and personal development.
  • An understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and effective support strategies to meet the needs of students.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Salary: £80-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
