Senior Space Operations Manager Job Description

This Senior Space Operations Manager role reports into the Head of Space and is based in London. The role is a full-time, permanent position with 42.5 hours per week and an estimated salary of £48,000 - £58,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate has exceptional organisational and planning skills, confidence in briefing contractors, and a good understanding of H&S and compliance legislation. Relevant qualifications include H&S, Personal Licence Holder, and SIA qualifications. The role involves leading administrative tasks before each event, collecting relevant paperwork, and ensuring events run smoothly. Finance responsibilities include adding staffing and event costs to the CRM system and raising client invoices.

Responsibilities:

Liaising with Clients:
  • Collecting relevant paperwork and distributing to all relevant parties
  • Understanding clients' and suppliers' risk assessments, method statements, and insurance certificates

Site Management:
  • Attending site visits and assisting in creating processes and procedures

Financial Planning:
  • Adding staffing and event costs to the CRM system
  • Raising client invoices
