Main Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing patient calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Greeting and assisting patients in a welcoming and respectful environment
- Processing prescription requests and maintaining accurate patient records
- Receiving, sorting, and scanning mail and other correspondence
Additional Responsibilities:
- Handling sensitive patient information with confidentiality and discretion
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient clinical records
- Communicating effectively with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Contributing to the efficient and smooth operation of the office
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Experience in medical reception or a related field (an advantage)
- Working knowledge of EMIS and Docman (helpful but not essential)
