Job Title: Achats - Contract Manager de service F/H

Service Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Manager to join our team.

About the Role

The Contract Manager will be responsible for the delivery and management of mechanical services across our housing estates. This includes domestic boilers, communal boiler/plant/energy rooms, fire safety disciplines, communal ventilation, gas supplies, HRU/air source heat pumps, and water (domestic as well as communal).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the mechanical industry, including relevant regulations, guidelines, and legislation.
  2. Deliver repairs & maintenance, servicing, upgrades/replacements, and new installation programs with a high level of expertise.
  3. Set budgets, monitor spend, and forecast future budget requirements to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  4. Consider new regulations such as the Building Safety Act while meeting the needs and expectations of residents and key stakeholders.
  5. Manage a team of at least 6 officers, including service managers/supervisors, COW, and project support officers, focusing on work allocation, performance, staff development, and wellbeing.
  6. Knowledge and experience of contracts and their use in delivering work and managing contractors, both internal and external.
  7. Participate in evaluation panels for assessing potential bidders, from evaluation to contract award and mobilization.
  8. Provide technical support and advice to teams such as Housing, DLO, Tenancy Services, and Regeneration and Delivery teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a mechanical qualification that includes heating, ventilation, and BS7967 regulation, be up to date on CDM regulations, and hold a relevant project and/or contract management qualification.
