Mechanical Services Manager

Job Summary:
Voxconsultants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Manager de Service F/H to join our team. As a key member of our Property & Asset Management department, you will be responsible for the delivery and management of mechanical services across our housing estates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement mechanical services strategies to meet the needs of our residents and stakeholders.
- Manage a team of service managers, supervisors, and project support officers to ensure the effective delivery of mechanical services.
- Develop and maintain contracts with external contractors to deliver mechanical services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and legislation.
- Provide technical support and advice to teams such as Housing, DLO, Tenancy Services, and Regeneration and Delivery teams.
- Deputize for the M&E Manager as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mechanical services management, including delivery and management of repairs, maintenance, servicing, and upgrades/replacements.
- Experience in managing budgets, monitoring spend, and forecasting future budget requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, guidelines, and legislation, including the Building Safety Act.
- Excellent professional interpersonal skills, including good communication and technical writing skills.
- Relevant mechanical qualification, including Heating, Ventilation, and BS7967 regulation, and up-to-date knowledge of CDM regulations.
Contract Details:
- Initial 6-month contract with the opportunity to extend.
- PAYE via Umbrella.
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (Hybrid working to be discussed).
