Automated Services Engineer

The role of the HBWH and AGV Services Engineer is to drive and support the growth of the business in the UK, collaborating with the branch and headquarter customer service team to deliver customer support in the Midlands region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, electronic, PLC, and PC faults in HBWH and AGV equipment and accessories
  • Performing testing and troubleshooting on mechanical and electromechanical, electro-pneumatic, and oil-hydraulic circuits of HBWH and AGV
  • Carrying out routine and extraordinary maintenance procedures on AGV and accessories
  • Sharing problematics and issues with the headquarter and branch team
  • Collaborating closely with the supervisor to ensure alignment on activities and facilitate cooperation with the headquarters
  • Possible travel outside the UK on request

Requirements include:

  • Apprentice training in Electrical/Mechanical or Higher
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, electro-pneumatic, and oil-hydraulic schematics
  • Knowledge of current regulations in machine safety
  • Use of mechanical and electrical measuring instruments
  • Knowledge of the English language, with a second language (French, Spanish, or Italian) being preferable
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Ability to evaluate and process information accurately
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Highly customer-oriented and able to understand the needs of the client
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of PLC software, such as Siemens, Beckhoff, or similar
  • Proficiency in MS Office
