About the Role

The HBWH (Automated High Bay Warehouse) and AGV (Automated Guide Vehicle) Services Engineer will play an important role in driving and supporting the growth of the business in the UK, collaborating with the branch and the headquarter customer service team to deliver customer support in the Midlands region.

  1. Perform diagnosis of mechanical / electrical / electronic / PLC / PC faults and subsequent repairs on HBWH and AGV equipment and accessories.
  2. Conduct testing and simple troubleshooting on mechanical and electromechanical, electro-pneumatic, and oil-hydraulic circuits of HBWH and AGV.
  3. Perform routine and extraordinary maintenance procedures on AGV and accessories.
  4. Possible travel outside UK on request.
Requirements
  1. Apprentice Trained in Electrical/Mechanical or Higher.
  2. Able to read and understand electrical, electro-pneumatic, and oil-hydraulic schematics.
  3. Reading and understanding of technical mechanical drawings.
  4. Knowledge of current regulations in machine safety.
  5. Use of mechanical and electrical measuring instruments.
  6. Knowledge of the English language; preferable a second language (French, Spanish or Italian).
  7. Willingness to travel internationally.
  8. Knowledge of PLC SW such as Siemens, Beckhoff or similar is appreciated.
  9. Proficient in MS Office.
