About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Adviser to join our Corporate Tax team at HM Treasury. As a key member of our Strategy Branch, you will be responsible for advising ministers on emerging issues in Corporation Tax, working closely with HMRC policy partners.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Providing expert analysis and advice to ministers on Corporation Tax measures in the Budget process and Finance Bills.
  • Leading on project management, SPB processes, and advice to ministers on specific Corporation Tax measures.
  • Developing and implementing policy on the future of Corporation Tax.
  • Collaborating with other government departments to explain the Corporation Tax system and its impact on their objectives.
