Policy Advisor, Corporate Tax Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Advisor to join our Corporate Tax team at HM Treasury. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the government's economic and fiscal objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Advise ministers on emerging issues in Corporation Tax, working closely with HMRC policy partners.
- Lead on analysis, project management, and advice to ministers on specific Corporation Tax measures in the Budget process and Finance Bills.
- Take forward elements of policy on the future of Corporation Tax.
- Work with the rest of HMT and other government departments to explain the Corporation Tax system and impact on their objectives.
- Skilled at analysing and using a range of relevant information to support decision making.
- Strong communication style and able to maximise the impact of your message.
- Able to remain alert to emerging trends and issues which might impact your work area.
