Job Title: Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO)

Job Type: Daily Supply Work

Location: Leicestershire and Surrounding Areas

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to work across Primary Schools in Leicestershire and surrounding areas. As a SENCO, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability and the associated paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a SENCO or in a similar role within a special educational needs setting
  • In-depth knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with students with diverse needs
  • A relevant degree and SENCO qualification are essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Flexibility and availability to work on a daily supply basis
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
