Our client is one of NI's most successful manufacturing businesses, seeking a skilled Finance Manager to cover a planned period of absence.

Job Description:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finances of the business unit, including:

Accounting:
  • Ensuring timely completion of month-end close.
  • Producing accurate and timely management accounts.

Internal Controls:
  • Reviewing and signing off control checklists.
  • Ensuring financial controls are in place.

Cost Reduction/Profit Improvement/Efficiencies:
  • Suggesting and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Working with the business team to identify opportunities for improvement.

Working Capital Management:
  • Leading the reduction of working capital.
  • Managing cash flow and liquidity.

Reporting:
  • Providing regular financial updates to senior management.
  • Preparing and presenting management accounts.

Requirements:
  • Fully qualified Accountant with at least 3 years' PQE.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role in manufacturing.
  • 'Big Four' trained with subsequent industry exposure.

Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.

Salary: £53,500 per annum.
