About the RoleThis is a fixed-term, full-time position that will be covering the Mid and North Essex area. You will be required to travel to various locations, and a driving license and access to a vehicle are essential. The role is focused on developing and implementing the council's approach to quality improvement of the adult social care market across Essex.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and produce reports to ensure the quality of services delivered to adults in Essex.
- Provide consultancy services to the Social Care market on how to improve the quality of their services and enhance customer outcomes and experiences.
- Work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to maximize potential opportunities for quality improvement and develop innovative approaches to service delivery.
- Identify and challenge care delivery that falls below standards, providing support to improve the quality of service provision.
- Provide expert advice and support to providers during periods of Safeguarding activity.
- Ensure providers are compliant with all external regulation and contractual requirements to achieve required standards.
- Utilize opportunities to identify best practice and build professional knowledge and expertise to maximize the value of relevant networks and influence service improvements.
- Ensure successful delivery of day-to-day activities and develop skills within the quality function.
- Identify patterns and trends in care delivery and share intelligence with People Commissioning to inform future thinking and commissioning intent.
- Educated to A Level equivalent or equivalent experience with evidence of continuing professional development.
- Experience within a social care setting with evidence of ensuring quality of outputs in delivering service.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to develop a rapport and engage with diverse groups of individuals.
- Evidence of a good understanding of quality standards, analysis, organizational development, and practical application.
