Make a positive impact and inspire young minds by joining our team as a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant in Sutton.

This role is designed for aspiring Primary Teachers who want to gain relevant, paid classroom experience prior to commencing an Initial Teacher Training Programme in 2024 or 2025.

We are looking for confident, high-performing, and ambitious Graduates from leading UK Universities who can demonstrate an unwavering desire to qualify as a Primary Teacher in the future.

The ideal candidate will have obtained a 2:1 or higher degree and be excited to work in a supportive Primary School environment.

As a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide in-class support, intervention sessions, revision classes, catch-up classes, and get involved in extra-curricular opportunities
  • Build an invaluable foundation of experience and knowledge prior to starting your Primary Teacher Training
  • Ensure you are making an informed decision about qualifying as a Primary Teacher prior to submitting your ITT application

Our Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant role offers a competitive salary, paid weekly on a PAYE basis until July 2024, and opportunities to commence ASAP for immediately available Graduates.

Priority will be given to Graduates who have obtained a minimum of a 2:1 degree classification alongside strong academic performance within GCSE and A-Level examinations.
