Primary Teaching Assistant Role in Sutton

Ribbons & Reeves is seeking an aspiring Primary Teacher to join our team as a Primary Teaching Assistant in Sutton. This is an incredible opportunity for a Graduate with a 2:1 or above degree classification who is committed to commencing a career within Primary Education.

About the Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and whole-class support for pupils of all abilities, including some pupils who have SEN. You will work very closely with Qualified Primary Teachers and confidently deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to drive up attainment levels within literacy and numeracy. You will monitor pupil progress and encourage social skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting KS1 and KS2 students on a whole class, 1:1 and small group basis
  • Working alongside experienced and supportive Primary Teachers
  • Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to drive up attainment levels within literacy and numeracy
  • Monitoring pupil progress and encouraging social skills

Requirements

We are looking for a Graduate with a 2:1 or above degree classification who is committed to commencing a career within Primary Education. You will need to be able to work effectively with pupils of all abilities and have excellent communication skills.
