We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and administering medication
- Offer companionship and social interaction to clients, including going on outings and engaging in hobbies
- Document care activities and communicate with the office to discuss changing client needs
- Work independently and as part of a team to provide a high level of care and support to clients
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.00 p/h weekdays and £12.50 p/h weekends, plus holiday pay and pension
- Full-time and part-time roles available, with a minimum of 1-hour client visits
- No uniform required, allowing you to blend in with clients like a family member
- Mileage paid at 30p per mile, plus travel time paid
- Double pay on Bank holidays
- Fully paid ongoing in-house training, including the Care Certificate
- 1:1 mentoring from a dedicated experienced Care Professional
- Funded study for NVQ Level 2 & 3 Apprenticeship, with support for further levels
- A friendly and supportive team environment, with 24/7 on-call support
- Regular staff social events
- Blue Light Card Discount and Carers Card Discount
- Refer a friend scheme up to £200
