We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Total Community Care Limited. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with complex needs, including spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and acquired brain injuries.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in various areas, including tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care. You will work closely with our experienced clinical team to provide high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support with medication management and administration
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
