The May Fair Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic team in the May Fair Kitchen. As a Senior Waiter/Waitress, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience that exceeds their expectations.

About the Role:

  • Supervise a team of Commis Waiters and Waiters to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Head Waiters, Floor Managers, and Restaurant General Manager to achieve service targets and objectives.
  • Ensure that all service standards and procedures are followed, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Foster strong relationships with colleagues, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Waiter/Waitress or Waiter/Waitress in a high-quality, fine dining restaurant environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Impeccable command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Able to work well under pressure, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in fast-paced environments.
