Occupational Therapist Band 6 Thurrock Integrated Community Team

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our innovative and dynamic community service in Thurrock. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will be working closely with a friendly team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and rehabilitation assistants to provide high standards of patient-centered care.
Main Duties- Provide specialist holistic assessments and OT interventions in patients' own homes and on-site gyms to promote safety and independence.
- Offer expert advice and clinical recommendations to both OT and MDT teams regarding holistic OT provision.
- Support junior staff and provide excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
NELFT North East London Foundation Trust values new starters and provides a comprehensive induction program, including mandatory training, systems training, and equipment allocation. As part of the process, new starters will meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health, and wellbeing.
Requirements- Experience of working at B5/B6 level.
- Previous NHS work experience.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
